2. In related news ….. The  Nahusenay and Ebenezer campaign in Gondar continues to strengthen!!!
Fano forces carried out a successful surprise attack, in the central Gondar zone, Shawra district, in an area called Gazge, as the top military officers of the regime and government militias and counter insurgency commanders were holding a meeting.
This victory over the regime’s military was achieved through the joint operation of the Adwa and Yenegat Chora Fano units, in central Gonder.
Many Prosperity Party leaders and cadres, who had been given amnesty, and had been released by Fano in a previous military campaign, but had again joined the government in its anti-Amhara campaign, have been neutralized in this campaign.
Commander-in-Chief of the Adwa Regiment, Samuel Baledel, told Ghion Satellite Television thatthe regime’s soldiers are cowering in fear, and many of the regime’s militias have fled the scene of the fighting.  He has also reported that many of the regime’s top military officers, line officers, and soldiers, have been killed and wounded by the action taken. This report was sent to Ghion TV by our partner, Thomas Feteh, from Gondar.

3. A major Fano victory was recorded in a battle fought by Prof. Asrat Woldeges Brigade, which is under Emperor Yekuno Amlak’s regiment, under the command of the Shewa Amhara Fano.
On April 15, 2024, the regime’s coalition army retreated back to where it came from, after suffering heavy losses by Majete Fano fighters, in the area called Arb Market, in the Yefat Region.
The attacking government coalition mobilized and combined its forces from Ataye, Menz Region, and Kemisse, with the aim of capturing the city of Majete. But, after fighting from the evening of April 14, to the morning of April 15, the government forces failed and suffered heavy defeats.
The Amhara Fano Showa command, led by veteran and author, Aseged Mekonen of Emperor Yekuno Amlak’s regiment, defeated the regime’s army by deploying three battalions of Professor Asrat’s Brigade, namely Aisha Seyed Battalion, Dejazmach Meshesha Battalion and Dejazmach Damtew Battalion.
The government offensive was made up of the National Defense Forces, government militia and counter insurgency units. The government forces were armed with heavy weapons and intended to encircle the surrounding area and capture Magete.
However, the Prosperity Party Regime’s army which attempted to break into the town through the Arb Gebeya corridor, was severely punished and totally annihilated, by Majete Fano fighters, after very intense fighting.
According to the report sent to us from Shoa, by our reporter Beqalu Deresse, the invading government forces finally retreated and fled without even taking their dead and wounded.

6. The Israeli army announced that it will not back down from taking retaliatory action against Iran, although the US and the international community opposed such action.
Israel’s asassination of one of Iran’s top generals in the Syrian Capital of Damascus,  fifteen days ago, brought about serious consequences.
According to local analysts, Israel took the measure under the assumption that either Iran would not retaliate, or America would intervene. Obviously, both assumptions failed to be correct.
Iran responded and America did not intervene. The fact that Israel is quite angry by this, and is discussing what retaliatory actions it is getting ready to take on its own, has become the talk of the international community.
The chief of Iranian Conflict Resolution Group, Mr. Ali Vaze, although Iran’s attacks didn’t cause much damage, the symbolism of its action was quite significant. He has warned that there may still be a serious response from Israel.
According to Han Heiler, a researcher of Middle East politics, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may take action against Iran in order to boost his approval rating and gain acceptance for his policies. But, he may refrain from doing so, if such action is not approved by the United States.
America’s position so far is that it is better for Israel to restrain itself. The reason for this is that America partially defended the missile attacks, and  no further escalation of conflict is needed at this time.
Although what to do about Iran’s actions remains on the back burner, the Israeli attack on Palestinians in Gaza continues, and many Palestinians have been killed. Along with Iran’s attack, it was expected that some neighboring Arab countries would cooperate with Iran and take similar action, but Iran didn’t receive any positive supportive response. Infuriated by this absence of support from its neighbors, Iran has said it wants each of its neighbors to make clear where they stand on this issue, in 72 hours.
Aziz Hasan, another Middle East researcher, says, although it is said that America will not interfere in the matter, it does not mean that it will not exert diplomatic pressure, and it is likely that many major countries will put pressure on Iran in the near future.
According to recent public opinion polls regarding Israel’s current policy, its citizens do not want the war to end, which may result in bringing more acceptance for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
However, although Israel and Iran may not enter into a direct war, it is inevitable that they will continue their proxy wars, as usual. The two countries have been bitter enemies ever since Iran’s President Ahemedin Nijad, 15 years ago, declared that Israel has to be erased from the map of this earth.
